“Beautiful sunny day this year and the usual excellent Hogweed Trotters organisation mean this is a marvellous tour of the Cotswolds in 13.1 tough miles with four major climbs. 2 Min PB this year means I will be back!” JF
The Race Director was Bob Bell ably assisted by Members of the Hogweed Trotters Road Running Club, family and friends.

“Quite the marvellous antidote to a large event. Excellently organised by a very enthusiastic team of runners. Beautiful location, stunning course and all the home-made cake you can eat. If John Betjemen was a runner, he’d do this race!” Bruce Sellers

“If you are up to the hills, then make this a “must-do” race for 2012. Outstanding organisation and friendly marshalling. Hilly – as it says on the tin ! but fantastic views from the cotswold edge run along minor roads. Plenty of water, with a bonus of jelly babies and fruit at one point. Very fair price with a good Tee in a generous goody bag. Easy parking. Great post race spread at good prices – this is the way to organise a race by runners for runners. Very impressed all round. This should be up in the 2011 awards section come the end of the year. Well done to all.” Letmeoutofthere
