Training Session Wednesday
Our Wednesday evening run is the heart of the Hogweed Trotters week and one of our most popular sessions. Taking place every week at 6:45pm, this run is ideal for anyone looking to stay active, improve their fitness, or enjoy a sociable run in a friendly and supportive environment.
Routes vary each week and typically take in a mix of local roads, lanes, and countryside around Chipping Sodbury and the surrounding area. Runners are split into groups based on pace and distance, ensuring there’s something suitable for all abilities — from newer runners building confidence to experienced runners looking for a steady mid-week workout.
We operate a “no runner left behind” approach, with group leaders and experienced members supporting everyone along the way. Whether you’re training for an event or just running for enjoyment, Wednesday nights offer a great balance of structure, encouragement, and community spirit.
